Who We Are
Formed in 2017, Kells Photography Club has 40 members with a wide range of interests and talents such as portrait, sports, landscape, macro, still life, astrophotography and street photography.
The club caters to members at all levels from absolute beginners to the more advanced photographer.
A beginners course is held most years with the aim to give newer members a jumping off point into their new hobby.
When the weather and restrictions allow there are a number of field trips and workshops that allow members to get out and get hands-on experience with their cameras, the past year we had a seascape workshop, steel wool photography at the spire, a panning and movement workshop and the ever popular scavenger hunt.
Our hope for the next club year is to be out more frequently and with a diverse set of workshops.
The club regularly welcomes guest speakers (some international) who cover a range of topics and are always great at sharing their expertise.
Kells Photography Club is a friendly, relaxed and encouraging group of photographers. New members are always welcome (Not having a camera is not an issue). For more information contact us on kellsphotographyclub@gmail.com
