Aisling McDermott

I have been interested in photography since I was a child, and bought my first film SLR aged 14! I brought it later on through my travels in Europe, Australia and Asia, and have loved photography ever since. I enjoyed printing in mono, back in the dark room days. My favourite subjects are natural landscapes, flora, fauna, and I always enjoy people portraits and more recently sport. A few of my sports shots have been published in the Meath Chronicle recently. It's always great to see shots in print, be it in media or exhibition or just to share with family and friends. I love being a member of Kells Photography Club, and enjoy the social side to photography and having a chat with fellow photographers. I'm aware the best camera is the one that is in your hand, so I enjoy capturing on phone, digital camera, or is whatever available. Just grabbing the moment and capturing it forever!
